European Labeling Services
Just as there are regulations governing chemicals in North America, there are regulations in the European Union (EU). When you create labels for substances or preparations manufactured within or imported into the EU, take into consideration that classification and labeling requires compliance with two directives:
- Directive 67/548/EEC regarding substances
- Directive 1999/45/EC regarding preparations
Substances are pure chemicals, which are listed and classified under the Approved Supply List (ASL). Preparations are mixtures of two or more substances, which may or may not be listed under the ASL. Both substances and preparations must contain more than a handful of information. Can you identify what they are?
We, at ICC The Compliance Center can help you identify required information. Our extensive knowledge in EU and other workplace, transport, plus health and safety regulations are what make us your global hazmat solutions provider.
