The latest version of the UN Recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods has introduced a new marking for goods classed as Marine Pollutants. This mark is currently authorized under 49 CFR; it will become mandatory effective January 14, 2010. The IMDG Code implemented this marking for Marine Pollutants on January 1, 2009; it becomes mandatory January 1, 2010. |
