Many significant changes are being made to the 54th Edition of the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations.
Significant Changes and Amendments have been released for the IATA DGR 54th Edition.

Some rather extensive changes to aspects such as packaging have been introduced to the IATA DGR 54th edition. The changes for the 54th edition, that will take effect January 1, 2013 will be more limited, and are designed in most cases to refine or simplify requirements, rather than create new ones or change requirements significantly.

IATA Releases Addendum to the 53rd Edition. This recent addendum reflects the changes to the provisions for battery-powered mobility aids that were issued by ICAO in addendum no. 4 to the current edition of the Technical Instructions. It also contains additions and changes to State variations that will be in addendum no. 5 to the Technical Instructions that ICAO will issue shortly as well as a number of additions, deletions and changes to operator variations.
