Polychlorinated biphenyl (PCB) labels play a very important role in protecting humans and the environment from the hazards these compounds present.

Because of the harmful effects of PCBs, ICC The Compliance Center carries the necessary labels you'll need to protect your employees and the environment. PCBs are regulated because they are not readily biodegradable and do not easily break apart.

They are organic compounds harmful to the environment, animals, and humans. Various levels of PCBs cause negative reproductive effects, gastric disorders, skin lesions, and cancerous tumors. They may also cause skin ailments, liver damage, nausea, dizziness, eye irritation, and bronchitis.

Due to the side effects of PCBs, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency regulates that the following items be labeled as containing PCBs: PCB containers, PCB transformers, large high- and low-voltage PCB capacitors when removed from service, electric motors using PCB coolant, PCB hydraulic systems, PCB heat-transfer systems, PCB article containers, PCB storage areas, and PCB transport vehicles.

Our PCB labels comply with EPA regulations for substances containing PCBs as well as 40 CFR Part 761. Our labels are printed on Thermalabel™ exterior grade material. PCB labels are UV coated to protect against sun and rain. Backed with a premium freezer grade adhesive with exceptional holding power.
