Used Oil
We manufacture used oil labels that meet the requirements for EPA and DOT regulations.
There are various types of used oil, including lubricants, such as crank case oil, gear oil, hydraulic fluid, and insulating fluid or transmission fluid. In the past, waste oil has created many problems for the environment. A liter or two of oil can create a slick on a lake or stream, or contaminate thousands of gallons of drinking water.
As a result, waste oil must be stored and handled carefully to ensure it does not harm the environment. Used oil is regulated under the 40 CFR part 279 – "Standards for the Management of Used Oil". Make sure safety precautions are met by using a used oil label purchased from ICC The Compliance Center.
Our used oil labels are printed on Thermalabel™ material with a white background and bold, black lettering. These waste labels are fade resistant, durable, and backed with a permanent adhesive which bonds to a wide variety of substrates.
