This Addendum was posted on Dec 22, 2017, and is effective January 1, 2018.<\/p>\n<p>To view the full Addendum <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/icc.pub\/downloads\/addendums\/iata\/59-addendum-01-en-2017-12.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">click here<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<h4>Highlights of the Addendum include:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>A new state variation was added for Ethiopia. This new addition includes 4 variations including mandatory requirements for the shipper\u2019s declaration form and a mandatory inclusion of an (M)SDS.<\/li>\n<li>UPS Airlines (5X), Air Canada (AC), Air France are some of the others who have operator variations. Check these carefully, as there are several pages dedicated to these changes.<\/li>\n<li>Table 2.3A \u2013 Provisions for Dangerous Goods Carried by Passengers or Crew has been regarding Lithium Batteries. This section is not only important for shippers, but also for travelers.<\/li>\n<li>Section 2.3.5.9 has been completely revamped.\u00a0 There isn\u2019t an easy way to go in and make the changes they have listed. \u00a0As a courtesy to our customers, you can <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/icc.pub\/downloads\/misc\/iata-section-2-3-5-9.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">download<\/a><\/strong> a revised section with all the changes, deletions and additions.\u00a0 It fits on one page and can be printed for adding into IATA.<\/li>\n<li>A change was added for Dangerous Goods in Excepted Quantities.
