The second addendum was posted on March 31, 2023<\/p>\n<p>Why an addendum? There are several reasons, but one of the big ones is the late submission of variations by the state (countries) and operators (carriers). Other reasons may also include the correction of typographical errors or urgent changes to the regulations.<\/p>\n<p>The March 31 amendment includes the following changes:<\/p>\n<p>Operator variations (2.8.4)<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>ASL Airlines Belgium<\/li>\n<li>Silk Way West Airlines<\/li>\n<li>Astral Aviation<\/li>\n<li>EVA Airways<\/li>\n<li>Air Atlanta Icelandic<\/li>\n<li>Copa Airlines \u2013 Cargo<\/li>\n<li>Air Atlanta Europe<\/li>\n<li>Condor Glugdienst GmbH<\/li>\n<li>Air Seychelles<\/li>\n<li>Jin Air<\/li>\n<li>All Nippon Airways<\/li>\n<li>SF Airlines<\/li>\n<li>Asiana Airlines<\/li>\n<li>Aero Republica<\/li>\n<li>DHL Air Austria GmbH<\/li>\n<li>Singapore Airlines<\/li>\n<li>SunExpress<\/li>\n<li>Globus LLC<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In addition to the operator variations, there are two other changes.<\/p>\n<p>2.3.5.8 was updated to add gram and watt-hour ratings for the portable electronic devices (PED)<\/p>\n<p>Section 5, Packing Instruction 952 to indicate:<\/p>\n<p><em>Lithium batteries which have been removed from the vehicle and are packed separate from the vehicle in the same outer packaging must be offered for transport as UN 3481, Lithium ion batteries packed with equipment or UN 3091, Lithium metal batteries packed with equipment and packed according to Packing Instruction 966 or Packing Instruction 969, as applicable.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Ensure that you review to see if any of these changes apply to your daily shipping routine, and update your copy of the regulations accordingly.<\/p>\n<p><a
