December 18, 2014 — ICC Compliance Center (ICC) is excited to announce its partnership with the Canadian Paint and Coatings Association (CPCA). This partnership enables CPCA members to take advantage of training on the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals (GHS).
ICC specializes in dangerous goods regulations solutions for companies involved in handling, offering for transport, or transporting dangerous goods, and workplace safety. This partnership enables CPCA members to take the GHS Supervisor/Manager course, GHS Classification course in-person at training centers across Canada, plus online GHS courses and other topics.
“This legislative change will have a significant impact on the paint and coatings industry. ICC recognizes that resources will be limited and offering support through leading associations such as CPCA will help to ensure a smooth Canadian transition to GHS,” says Greg Monette, Business Development Team Leader. CPCA President, Gary LeRoux, adds, “CPCA is committed to ensuring that our members are able to find the training their employees need for successful implementation of the new GHS regulations in Canada.”
CPCA members can register for online training at www.canpaint.com or take advantage of preferred rates at any of ICC’s training centers. For a list of courses go to http://www.thecompliancecenter.com/training-courses/ghs/.
