Shipping by air or a carrier like FedEx, UPS or DHL? The addition of the Air module would be a great benefit. This module will allow you to create a dangerous goods air declaration for per the IATA and ICAO regulations. The software works with the current edition of the ICAO Technical Instructions supplemented where applicable with the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations, allowing the user to create a compliant document by simply adding a few items. Users can save items like consignees and technical names, allowing them to be reused at a later date.
If you ship dangerous goods by common carrier and require a bill of lading, then the Ground module is a must-have. It works in conjunction with the US DOT 49 CFR regulations to ensure that information entered is consistent with the regulations. Each shipment is checked for general segregation rules, so you never have to worry about accidentally packing two incompatible items.
The Sea module works in conjunction with the IMDG Code regulations to ensure your paperwork is in compliance with the current edition. Restrictions and segregation rules are automatically checked when you enter a specific UN number.
Documents created with Air, Ground or Sea module can be stored and shared with this module. PDF documents can be saved and reproduced for easy updating. Without the document archive, shipments created will not be stored, and it is the responsibility of the user to save the PDF upon generation.
Do you require labels such as addresses, UN number or net quantity? Then the product label module is for you. When creating your documentation, a field is completed which will generate a label to your size specifications.
Create the special manifest listing dangerous and special load onboard on aircraft.
When an aircraft transporting dangerous goods and other special load the captain shall have a list of these goods and where on the aircraft this goods is loaded. A NOTOC are typically completed by the ground handling personnel.
Do your shippers understand your part numbers better than UN numbers? With this add-on, an administrator can set up a user part code with a dangerous goods designation, which can be recalled when needed for a shipment. For example, the shipper enters part code CQ1240 which DGOffice interprets as Paint UN 1263, and the documentation is completed accordingly.
If you need to keep track of shipments, amounts shipped for management or government reporting, add on Statistics. This module allows the user to search and export information that can be further manipulated in Microsoft® Excel® or other comparable spreadsheet software.
