Description
Lithium batteries pose unique problems when shipped by air. In recent years, there has been a significant increase in the number of incidents involving lithium batteries on board aircrafts. Those who think they do not ship lithium batteries should think about it again. These batteries are an integral part of our lives: cell phones, laptops, GPS systems, in addition to all lithium metal batteries or lithium ion batteries. Even the shipment of a cell phone or laptop from one place to another requires basic knowledge about the risks involved. This course provides regulatory knowledge on the shipment of lithium batteries using the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations. The regulations are required to complete this training program. This course will follow ICC’s 7 Steps to Compliance method.
