Description
Effective January 1, 2013, this new limited quantity marking is now mandatory for domestic shipping within the United Sates, replacing the ORM-D-AIR marking.
The marking will harmonize the ICAO and IATA Regulations with the limited quantity provisions of the UN Recommendations and replaces "LTD QTY" and the UN Number placed inside a diamond. The "Y" in the center of the marking indicates that the shipment has been prepared for air transport.
