Hazard Class

Globally-recognized hazard class labels to comply with all domestic and international hazardous materials / dangerous goods regulations.

We print our labels on two durable and weather-resistant materials—choose from gloss paper or Thermalabel—and produce them with premium inks to ensure crisp, clear images and wording. All labels are backed with adhesives that have been tested to stick on a variety of substrates.

Mandatory for ICAO and IMDG as of January 1, 2014 shipping name labels require a new size for the UN number. Packages with capacity of more than 30 L or 30 kg must have UN numbers 12 mm minimum in height. For packages with capacity of 30 L or 30 kg or less, the UN numbers must be 6 mm in height. Lastly, packages with capacity of 5 L or 5 kg or less must have UN numbers sized appropriately.

Our hazard class labels comply with the 4″ x 4″ (10.16 cm x 10.16 cm) and 4″ x 6″ (10.16 cm x 15.27 cm) specification, in accordance with the U.S. DOT 49 CFR and Transport Canada’s TDG Regulations.
