- Suitable For: Individuals responsible for shipping dangerous goods by sea
- Prerequisites: TR-CLR100V/VT-CLR100V
- Publication Required: Current version of IMDG Code Regulations
- Complies with: IMDG Regulations
They will learn:
- Identification and classification of dangerous goods;
- Determining limitations and restrictions by utilizing the dangerous goods list within the IMDG code;
- Determining packaging requirement;
- Selecting appropriate packaging instructions;
- Understanding the marking and labelling requirements;
- Placarding
- Security considerations and segregation; and
- How to complete a dangerous good declaration.
Note: Transportation of Dangerous Goods by Ground certification is required to understand the basic principles.
Materials Provided: Course Presentation, Examples, Charts and Exam.
Certificate: To obtain a certificate of completion, participants must achieve a mark of 80% or higher. Exams are given at the end of the course and graded by the trainer.
